I try to keep as few layers as possible. Though, if you are going to add something new (like, change an eye or something) create a new layer and draw ontop of it then just flatten once you get it the way you want. This way if what you changed doesn't look good, it doesn't affect anything else.

If you are using digital, just try to do it like real paint.

Im really bad at explaining things though.

Wow! Overall the image is stricking. Without sounding like a perv, I do like how you can see through her top. It's not like you're going for a look of sexiness, it looks very innocent, but that what makes it even far more sexier. I don't know if that makes sense. I just call it as I see it. Great work!

Burn the file onto a disk, and take it to print services on campus. They'll hook you up. Kinko's works, too, of course, but they get kinda expensive.
